trying new stuff

So for Christmas Mommy and Daddy got me a book full of songs from family musical movies like beauty and the beast, Lion King, Hercules, and Oliver. Something that's pretty cool about the book is that its not the simplified versions so when I play them, they actually sound a lot like they do in the movies. Right now I'm working REALLY hard on Go the Distance from Hercules. It's so hard but very pretty. I think I'll have it down in about a week. It's really hard to practice though because we have to keep covering up the furniture because we're knocking out the wall and covering up stuff right now. But it's still going good.

The EFY Medley

So I've been working on this song for about 3 months and just never got around to recording it until yesterday. This song is the "EFY Medley" arranged by Michael R. Hicks and is a combination of "As Sisters in Zion" and "We'll Bring the World His Truth". I do know that their are a lot of mistakes but I was very nervous seeing as this is the first time I've recorded myself. On the bright side, I never stopped playing. I just kept right on going. Hope you enjoy.

Just Getting Started

So I've been working on piano for about three years now and thought it would be a good idea to start posting video's of myself playing the songs as I learn them so that family and friends can see them. I don't really know how to do this just yet but I'm going to be experimenting with stuff and I'll figure it out, hopefully today.
